US-R: Founding Software Engineer – AI Digital Workforce

Location: US Remote Compensation: Up to $250k base + significant equity Interview: Multi-stage (Coding, System Design, Culture/Values)

Their flagship product automates the entire outbound sales process, working side-by-side with human teams as a business development representative that learns, adapts, and grows. Backed by top-tier investors and already trusted by customers like Remote, Quora, and SumUp, they're on the cusp of the next Industrial Revolution—ushering in human-like AI employees for organizations everywhere.

🧠 What You’ll Be Doing

- Architect, design, and build the core platforms powering their digital workers - Develop and ship new features that integrate seamlessly with our AI teammates - Drive process improvements, tool upgrades, and backend system innovations - Present technical information to diverse audiences—guiding and influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Leverage and instruct AI coding tools/agents to enhance development workflows - Collaborate cross-functionally with product, research, and engineering teams

🧩 Must haves

- 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience, with focus on back-end systems - Proficiency with Typescript and/or Go - Deep expertise in distributed systems and public cloud platforms (AWS strongly preferred) - Strong record of independently delivering successful engineering projects - Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical groups - Experience with standard containerization & deployment technologies - Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases - Up-to-date on AI coding tools/agents - Commitment to software best practices and CI/CD

🧠 Nice to have (bonus points) - Experience in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments - Direct experience building platforms that integrate with autonomous agents - Passion for the mission—excited to define the new era of digital work - Public cloud platform expertise beyond AWS - Experience scaling systems for large customer bases
